I’ve always been drawn to the food industry, even from a young age. Growing up in a Middle Eastern household, I was always taught to value the authentic flavors and qualities of my culture. When I started catering food of other cultures, I made sure to honor those values from childhood to provide the best products for my customers.
I’ve been in the catering and restaurant businesses for over 10 years and have been mastering my barbeque and grilling skills for over 25 years. I was told to do it professionally, so I did. Since 2017, I’ve been catering farmers markets and other events across the East Coast, which turned Smokin’ Joe’s BBQ into more than just a side gig.
I cook each meal low and slow to perfection, but I know nothing’s ever perfect. That’s why I’m always looking to make each meal an experience for my customers while I perfect the flavors and authenticity of each dish. I’ve loved the process of making food for others for years, and I’m finally living that dream with the best damn BBQ in New Jersey.
